The Best Baseball Player In The League

Alex Rodriguez is the best Yankee because he hit 518 home runs during his career and that's fantastic. He hasn't always been a Yankee. He played for the Seattle Mariners from 1994 to 2000. Then he played for the Texas Rangers from 2001 to 2003. Finally he played third base for the New York Yankees from 2004 to present.

Rodriguez was traded for Soriano in 2004. Steinbrenner took a chance but it paid off. While he was a Texas Ranger, Rodriguez got the MVP in 2003, so the Yankee's manager, Joe Torre, knew he was getting a great player. Rodriguez switched from shortstop to third base and had to change his number from three to thirteen. He took Aaron Boone's place and in his first season he hit an average of .286 with 36 home runs, 106 run batted in, 112 runs scored and 28 stolen bases.

R0driguez was given numerous awards. Alex go his first major league award in 1994 as a Midwest league all star. Alex Rodriguez got 7 silver slugger awards as a short stop and 2 as a third baseman. Rodriguez has 3 Al MVP awards. Last year he got an award for hitter of the year and a Pepsi Clutch Performer of the year. He also has 2 golden glove awards. Rodriguez has 4 Hank Aaron awards.

Alex Rodriguez has achieved many goals in his whole career. He has achieved a goal for the most home runs by a New York born player. Rodriguez hit the most home runs in consecutive seasons with 109 in one season. He is the fastest player to get 12 home runs. Alex got 14 homers in the month of April 2007. Alex is the youngest player to hit 500 home runs.

I think Alex Rodriguez is going to lead the Yankees to a World Series either this year or within his whole 10 year contract. He's the best short stop in the league. He believes in his teammates and he also believe in team work. Alex Rodriguez can start the Yankees off with a great season. He is the best hitter and the best third baseman in the league.

Hi Alex,
When you publish a new post, try to include at least three paragraphs so that you give us enough information. I was interested in your post and wanted to find out more.

That was awesome Anthony! You made a believer out of me. I think the Yankees will win the series too. Your essay is a 4 in my book.
